Gilang Laundry is a business that is engaged in laundry services in Taluk Kuantan
which provides several service options such as kiloan (dry cleaning and ironing, dry and
folding washing, iron only) and washing alone where all activities are not computerized.
Based on the analysis carried out, it is known that the current transaction system at
Gilang Laundry in Teluk Kuantan is still not optimal and problems such as accumulation
of archives and reports, slow information flow, slow data retrieval process, and difficult
transaction report recap are found. The solution to this problem is in the form of a web
based information system that can be accessed by users without limitation of time and
place. The system is built with the waterfall method which consists of the stages of
analysis, design, implementation, and system testing. At the analysis stage, the tools used
for modeling the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The implementation process is
carried out using the MySQL database and the programming language PHP and
JavaScript. Programming is carried out procedurally. The test results show that the
system built is in accordance with the specified functional requirements. This research
has produced a laundry inter-jembput system that can be used to manage laundry
services at Gilang Laundry.
