This study aims to determine the effect of using broiler water of green betel leaf (Piper Betlle
Linn) in drinking water on ration consumption, body weight gain and broiler ration conversion.
This research was carried out for 28 days starting from January to February at the experimental
cage of the Faculty of Agriculture, Kuantan Singingi Islamic University. This study used a
completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments were:
P0 (control), P1 (green betel leaf broiler water 10 ml in 100 ml drinking water), P2 (20 ml green
betel leaf broiler water in 100 ml drinking water), P3 (green betel leaf broiler water 30 ml). ml in
100 ml of drinking water). Parameters observed in this study were ration consumption, body
weight gain and broiler ration conversion. The results of this study indicate that the provision of
green betel leaf broiler water in drinking water does not have a significant effect on ration
consumption but does have a significant effect on body weight gain and broiler ration
conversion. The best treatment in this study was P1 with a level of 10 ml. Average ration
consumption (1633.03 grams/head), body weight gain (1334.42 grams/head) and ration
conversion (1.22 grams/head)
